DGP Headquarters has instructed the police officers of all the commissionerates and districts to keep an eye on the discussions and prayers coming from mosques during Friday prayers. It should be ensured that the number of people coming for Namaz is the same as daily. There should not be any extra gathering anywhere. The movement of outsiders in the area should also be monitored.
DGP Prashant Kumar said in the instructions that senior officers should take immediate action by taking seriously even the smallest information related to the protests against CAA. Such pockets and localities should be identified in all commissionerates and districts, where protests against CAA have taken place in the past. The headquarters had earlier sent a list of 1,896 anarchists involved in the anti-CAA protest. Information regarding verification and action of the people involved has not been made available yet. Such people should be immediately identified and monitored, because they can take advantage of the current situation and carry out nefarious activities.
