Buying a new house and getting it modified as per your requirement is not cheap. This is becoming a very expensive task even in big cities of India. But few people know that in big countries of the world it is very expensive and people take the responsibility of doing it in their own hands. A woman did something similar when she bought a three-bed house and without any experience, along with her husband, did such renovation that her house has now become an inspiration for thousands of people.
Lindsay Ginane and her partner, who live in Hollywood, Liverpool, UK, bought a three-bedroom house for Rs 1 crore 79 lakh in April 2018 and despite having no experience in doing any DIY (do it yourself). Started work on renovating this house himself.
This couple worked on their new house for two years and renovated it so well that in two years the price of the property increased by Rs 1 crore 16 lakh. When the pictures of this house and this story were shared on Instagram, it got up to 162000 followers.
In 2020, Lindsay told that when he came to see this house, he understood the possibilities of this house. They gutted it all out and renovated every bedroom, turning it into a wonderful family home. They admitted that both of them had never done renovation before and even though they were doing it for the first time, their vision was that they could make it something big.
People who see this house on Instagram think that it will be a house worth crores, but it is only a three bedroom house. Lindsay started posting the journey of preparing this house on Instagram and soon her fans crossed lakhs. Today, people are getting inspired by these videos to renovate their houses.
