Meanwhile, news of an online fraud has come to the fore from Pune where a software engineer handed over Rs 16 lakh, his hard-earned money, to thugs.

This is how the fraud happened

According to the report of TOI, a person living in Pune got a part time job offer on an online app. By the way, this person is already working in a good company, but in the matter of extra income, he followed the message received on the app. In the beginning, it was told to earn money by liking the video. As the person completed the task, he also got the money. After this, the scammer asked the person to invest in a website so that he could make more money. In the beginning here also he got profit and the scammer asked the person to invest a huge amount. Between May 4 and May 8, the software engineer transferred a total of Rs 15.9 lakh to different accounts. He was seeing good profit on investing money but as soon as he tried to withdraw these money, he could not do so. When the person told this to his employer (who was a scammer), the person asked the engineer to transfer more money.

On hearing this, the software engineer was convinced that he had been a victim of a fraud and immediately informed the police about it and got an FIR registered against unknown persons.

Don’t make this mistake

To avoid this type of scam, do not get trapped in any part time job offer because it is a fraud which is done by luring you in the beginning. Always trust only trusted things and don’t fall for any sweet offer available online. Use the Internet with caution and alertness so that nothing like this happens to you.
