Ingredients for Tawa Paneer Masala

Paneer – 300 grams
Finely chopped capsicum – 3
Onion – 2-3 finely chopped
Crushed Tomatoes – 4
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Thick curd – 1 bowl
Carom seeds – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Cumin powder – 2 tsp
Pavbhaji Masala – 2 tsp
Refined oil – 4 tbsp
Coriander leaves – ½ cup
salt – as per taste

How to make Tawa Paneer

To make Tawa Paneer Masala, first of all take curd in a big pot, add turmeric, chilli, garam masala, coriander, cumin powder, chaat masala, carom seeds, ginger-garlic paste and salt and mix well. Now cut the paneer into small pieces and mix it in the curd mixture and cover it. After marinating for about 30 minutes, put a griddle and heat it by pouring 2 spoons of oil on it. Now wrap the marinated paneer pieces in the curd mixture and keep them on the griddle. During this, keep the gas flame on low and bake the paneer properly from all sides. Turn off the gas after all the paneer pieces are cooked.

After this, take a pan and pour the remaining oil in it. Now put onion in it and cook on high flame for 5-7 minutes. Keep in mind that you have to keep stirring the onion in between, so that it does not burn. After this add capsicum to it and fry it for 5 minutes. When the capsicum is cooked, add ground tomato, turmeric, salt and pavbhaji masala and roast it on a low flame. When the oil starts leaving the spices, reduce the flame of the gas. Now put the roasted paneer in this spice and garnish with green coriander. You can serve Tawa Paneer prepared in this way with roti, naan or rice.
