Disha Patani Father Jagdish Patani Defrauded: A big fraud has happened with the father of Bollywood actress Disha Patani. A group of 5 people had promised the actress’s father Jagdish Singh Patni a high ranking post in a government commission. In this connection, he defrauded the actress’s father of Rs 25 lakh. An FIR has been registered at Bareilly Kotwali Police Station on November 15 in the case of fraud against retired Deputy SP Jagdish Singh Patani.
Jagdish Patni told in the complaint that Shivendra Pratap Singh had introduced him to people named Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jaiprakash. These accused had claimed that they have strong political connections and they will get Jagdish Patani the chairman, vice chairman or some other strong post in the government commission. With this promise the accused had taken Rs 25 lakh from Patni.
5 lakh rupees were transferred in cash and 20 lakh rupees were transferred to the account.
Jagdish Patni has asked the accused to transfer Rs 5 lakh in cash and Rs 20 lakh to three different bank accounts. He told that the accused had promised to return the money if there was no work for three months. But when Patani asked him for the money back, he started threatening him.
Extortion case registered
According to PTI, Kotwali police station in-charge DK Sharma said, ‘A case of cheating, criminal intimidation and extortion has been registered against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Acharya Jaiprakash of Juna Akhara, Preeti Garg and an unknown person. Efforts are on to arrest the accused and take strict action.
