The representative of the SLMG Beverages Company of Lakdhani Group in Agra had complained to the police about selling goods from another company on two distributors in Hariparvat area and demanding a chauth of Rs 50 lakh. On the orders of DCP City, a report has been filed in the police station Hariparvat. The police is investigating the case.

The company’s law manager Devesh Kapoor filed a case and alleged that on 19 April 2019, he made Asunite Traders Private Limited at New Shahganj Colony a distributor of the company. Its director Abhinandan Sharma and Shamim Khan used to take various products of Coca Cola Company from Company.

From September 2022, the accused stopped purchasing the product. When the company officials reached his warehouse, the accused were selling the goods of another company. On the protest, he was abused and drove away. Now the accused are threatening the officers of the company and are demanding a chauth of Rs 50 lakh. Hariparvat police said that the case has been registered. Action will be taken after compiling evidence.
