Wife asked for money for ‘domestic work’
According to the report of South China Morning Post, a man with Hu Surnemp was married in the year 2011. A daughter of a couple was also done in the same year. In the last few years, there was a fight between them over the child’s education. In such a situation, in the year 2022, Hu left home and the couple was living separately. Meanwhile, Hu also put a divorce case in the year 2024. In such a situation, the wife sought a part of the daughter’s custody, her shared property. With this, the wife also said that instead of the housework she did for so many years, she should be given 50 thousand yuan i.e. about 6 lakh rupees.
Court’s decision surprised husband
Hu told that she had left her job to see the house and she alone used to take care of the daughter and handle the house. The court gave the verdict of this case in March and asked to give money and a lump sum of 30 lakh rupees every month for raising the daughter. Apart from this, he ordered the husband to give 5 times the amount of 6 lakhs sought for domestic work i.e. 30 lakh rupees more. On this, the husband was shocked and the judge told him that the housework is of the couple, not any one. If he does, you will have to pay.
