When the battery of his phone kept in his pocket exploded, he went straight from his place of work to the hospital. According to the report of the Daily Star, the man while narrating his experience said that he felt that he would not be able to survive now.

Talking to Sam of A Current Affair, air conditioning installer Mathew shared his experience. He said – This experience was as if someone had taken off the cast iron kettle from the stove and placed it directly on my knee for a long time. This happened when Mathew was climbing the stairs with his phone being charged from the power bank in his pocket. Meanwhile, he heard a faint sound and saw the fire coming up to his face. When he looked down, he realized that the danger was great.
‘I thought I would die’
The person told that he felt that now his life would not be saved and he would be burnt alive. With great difficulty, he himself drove to a nearby restaurant and called a cab there so that he could go to the hospital. The first taxi refused to take him in this condition. Somehow reached the hospital and his treatment started there. Often such incidents of battery explosion are caused by Lithium Ion batteries, which are used in phones, power banks, e-scooters and e-bikes. They often explode due to overcharge.
