Where are old tires used?
It is being claimed on social media that rubber is used in tires and rubber can never be made new by melting it. The tires of the vehicles which get worn out are taken to the factory and set on fire. From which the iron wires are separated and oil is extracted from inside it. The remaining burnt ash is used in cement. According to experts, it takes thousands of years for tires to decompose. If we burn tyres, our fuel consumption reduces. Emissions are reduced and the environment also benefits. But when we recycle them, it is more beneficial.
