Krum cut the potatoes into thin pieces, fried them and sent them to the customer. But the customer returned the order saying that the pieces were too thick. Kram found the customer’s words strange, so he cut thin slices again, fried them again and sent them. But the customer returned it again. Seeing this, Kram got angry. Then he cut very thin slices with a knife. They were so thin that they couldn’t even be eaten with a fork. When it was fried and brought in front of the customer, instead of getting angry, he liked the unique design of the potato. After that, there was a competition to eat it in restaurants and gradually it started being prepared in other restaurants also.
Why is there a line at chips?
Let us now explain why there is a line on chips. You must have seen these lines only in spicy chips. These are not needed only in salted potato chips. Actually, these lines are made so that the spices on the chips can easily spread over them and after keeping them in the packet, they do not slip off the chips and fall into the packet. These spices get stuck between these lines and stick to the chips. If they are plain, they will fall easily and fall towards the bottom of the packet. Now this old design of chips has become old, that is why till date different companies are making it with this design.
