The construction of the National Highway in Singrauli and Sidhi has been going on for 12 years. People are facing problems due to water filling in the pit dug for road construction near Bhusa Mor in Morwa. MPRDC (Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation) has put pressure on the construction company to make the road smooth as soon as possible.

Putting children’s lives in danger
The employees of the road construction company first tried to remove the water through a pump, but after failure, they started digging a pit to remove the water. Due to the pit, a drain-like structure has been formed there. Due to this, the local people have to take a longer route. Meanwhile, instead of providing a safe route to the school going children, they were made to cross the drain by making them sit in the bucket of the Pokelin machine.
