Neeraj Chopra Wins Doha Diamond League: Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has started his new season in a brilliant way after getting fit. Neeraj performed well in the Doha Diamond League and won it. In this event held in Doha, Qatar, Neeraj left everyone behind by throwing Javelin 88.67 meters in his first attempt.
Jakob Wadlejch, who won the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics, finished second after Neeraj in the Doha Diamond League. With this victory, Neeraj avenged his previous defeat from Anderson Peters as well. Anderson had won the title last time in the Doha Diamond League by defeating Neeraj. After this, Anderson finished third in the event.
Talking about Neeraj’s performance in this event, he threw the Javelin 88.67 meters in his first attempt. In the second attempt, Neeraj threw the javelin 86.04 meters away. 85.47 meters away in the third. The fourth attempt was fouled by Neeraj. In the 5th attempt, Neeraj threw the javelin 85.37 while in the sixth attempt, Neeraj threw the javelin 86.52 metres.

Couldn’t take part in Doha Diamond League last time due to injury
Neeraj Chopra is the current Diamond League champion. Neeraj could not participate in the Doha Diamond League held last year due to lack of fitness. Neeraj also became the first Indian player to do so in the year 2022 after winning the final of the Diamond League in Zurich.
