According to the report of South China Morning Post, this incident is from Gyeongsang Province of South Korea. An old temple named Tongdo Temple here received an offering of 2 million won i.e. about 1 lakh 25 thousand rupees in Indian currency. On August 20, an employee of the temple also received a letter along with this donation amount. According to Korea Times, in this letter, the man had narrated his entire story, which was related to a special priest of the temple. It was also told in the letter that the man is going to become a father soon, so he wants blessings for his child.

Actually, it was written in the letter that when this person was a child, during the financial crisis in 1997, he stole Rs 1900 from the temple’s box. Once a priest caught him doing this. He neither told his parents nor the police but put one hand on his shoulder and closed his eyes. The person says that after that he felt something different and he never stole anything again. When the same priest named Venerable Hyeonmun read the letter, he remembered everything. He told that during those bad times, he often opened the donation box so that needy people could take some money. For now, he has wished the person to become a father soon.
