India Pakistan Relation Latest News: The Government of Pakistan has expressed objection to the repeated mention of Pakistan by many leaders during the election campaign in India. Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch on Friday (April 26, 2024) urged Indian politicians not to drag Pakistan for political gains in their speeches.
Speaking during a press conference in Islamabad, Baloch said that Pakistan has rejected all claims of India on Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “Indian politicians should stop their bad habit of dragging Pakistan into India’s populist rallies for election purposes.”
‘All claims of Indian politicians are baseless’
According to the report of Pakistani media The Dawn, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said, “We are seeing a continuous increase in the provocative statements of Indian leaders making unjustified claims on Jammu and Kashmir. Which is worrying. Pakistan rejects these claims. “This inflammatory rhetoric inspired by ultra-nationalism poses a serious threat to regional peace and sensitivity.” The spokesperson also said that the claims of Indian politicians are baseless and contrary to any historical or legal facts.
Rajnath Singh had mentioned Pakistan on April 11
Let us tell you that on many occasions the leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha Elections Has taken the name of Pakistan during the campaign. On April 11, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said during a rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district, “The way Jammu and Kashmir is moving towards development, I think people in PoK think that their development can only be achieved by the PM.” This is possible only in the hands of Modi, not Pakistan. People of PoK can say that they want to live with India. PoK was, is and will always be our (India) part.”
This month Jaishankar had said this regarding PoK
In early April, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said during a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, “There is a national position on the PoK issue and not a party position. The Parliament of India has adopted a united stand and every political party in the country has supported that stand. We will never accept that PoK is not a part of India. This is a united stand, this is our stand.”
