India Condemns Pakistan Airstrikes: India has condemned Pakistan’s air strikes on Afghanistan on Monday (January 6, 2025). Regarding this attack, India has used strong language against Pakistan and has said that Pakistan has an old habit of blaming its mistakes on the neighboring countries.
India said, “We have taken note of media reports of air strikes on Afghan civilians, including women and children, which have resulted in the loss of many precious lives. We unequivocally condemn any attack on innocent civilians.”
The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, “It is Pakistan’s old habit to blame its neighbors for its internal failures. We have also noted the reaction of the Afghan spokesperson in this regard.”
When did the attack happen?
In December, the Taliban claimed that 46 people, including women and children, were killed in air strikes by the Pakistani army. Afghan government deputy spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said that four places were targeted in Barmal, a district in Paktika province. The statement of the Afghan Defense Ministry also claimed that most of those killed and injured in this attack belonged to the refugee camps of Waziristan, including women and children.
The Taliban government had then said that Afghanistan condemns this attack and considers it a clear attack and against international principles. Pakistan should remember that such action is not the solution to the problem.” The Afghan Defense Ministry had said that Afghanistan considers the defense of its soil as its right and this cowardly action will be responded to.
