In Bhojpur on Tuesday morning, armed miscreants shot a father and son in broad daylight. In this incident, both of them died on the spot. The father was shot four times, while the son was shot in the middle of his stomach. There has been a sensation in the area after this incident of murder in broad daylight. The incident took place in Raghunipur village under Udwantnagar police station area. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the entire matter. The deceased include Ramadhar Singh (65), son of late Bali Singh and his son Mukesh Yadav (35), residents of Raghunipur village of Udwant Nagar police station area.
The dispute over two pieces of land was going on since 2009.
Regarding the incident, Jagesh, the second son of the deceased, said that there was a dispute going on since 2009 with some powerful people of the village regarding the dispute of two parcels of land. On Tuesday morning, when the whole family was harvesting wheat in the field, some strongmen armed with weapons came into the field and fired indiscriminately, shooting my father in the head and my brother in the stomach. Jagesh told that during this time, firing was also done on me by the said people but we escaped from there after saving our lives.
Police engaged in raid
After receiving information about the incident, ASP Parichay Kumar reached the spot with his team. ASP Parichay Kumar said that raids are being conducted to arrest the accused. Regarding the incident, he told that these people were having a land dispute for many years, when they were working in the fields, they were shot dead by some people. The names of some people have come out, soon all the accused will be arrested.

Since 2009, there was a dispute going on with the Patidar regarding two katha land. Before this murder, there had been many disputes between them. In 2009 itself, the deceased’s elder brother Ramsevak Singh, Santosh Kumar’s nephew and a daughter-in-law were kidnapped and murdered. During that time Vinod Yadav, Aman Yadav and Chaman Yadav were accused of murder. Even today these three are accused of murder. In 2009 itself, Vinod Yadav’s Patidar Shivmangal Yadav, Kashinath Singh and Lalan Yadav were murdered, in which the deceased Ramadhar Singh went to jail. Ramadhar Singh has been murdered early today morning. The deceased was in jail from 2011 to 2023 in the murder case of Ramadhar Singh, Shivmangal Yadav, Kashinath Yadav and Lalan Yadav.
