At the same time, dress code was implemented in September 2023 for devotees for entry in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakal Temple included in the 12 Jyotirlingas present in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. According to the rules there, men are given dhoti-sola and entry in saris for women.
