Due to rain on Saturday, dumper drivers who were dumping soil on the under-construction Ganga Expressway near Bankota on the Moradabad-Farrukhabad highway in Badaun, parked their dumpers on the side of the highway. Due to dumpers parked on one side of the highway for about two kilometers, vehicles were not able to move in one direction. This caused a jam on the highway at around nine in the morning.

Roadways buses got stuck in the three kilometer long jam. The wheels of small and big vehicles stopped. Rambabu who was stuck in the jam said that he had to reach the court by 11 o’clock but got stuck in the jam. He has been in the roadways bus for three hours. Omprakash Maurya, resident of Saidpur said that his patient is admitted in the hospital. The doctor had told that his operation would take place at 10 o’clock. He had come home to arrange for money. He was sitting in a roadways bus to go to Badaun district hospital and the bus got stuck in a jam near Bankota. It has been three hours and now I don’t know in how much time we will be able to reach.
