After the garland, the bird sat on the bride’s head, as if blessing her. The bride’s side also honored the eagle and provided him food. As soon as the marriage was over, the eagle flew away. Actually the story is not just that. The villagers who came to the wedding were considering the eagle to be the bride’s father, who had died in an accident two days before the wedding. Villagers and family members believe that the girl’s father had come in the form of an eagle to bless his daughter. Everyone was surprised to see Baz’s calm nature during the ceremony and his presence there during every ritual.

The matter is of Ranjra village of Damoh district. According to the information received, the bride’s father Jalam Singh Lodhi died in an accident on April 18 near Talaiya in Abhana. Since the marriage of daughter Imarti was already fixed on April 21, both the parties decided to get married in a simple ceremony from the temple. The marriage was solemnized in the Chandi Mata temple of the village. The bride’s family member Ganesh Lodhi told that Nonibai had returned in the morning on the wedding day after immersing her husband’s ashes. After some time, suddenly an eagle came and sat on the roof of the house. Then he came near Nonibai and sat in her lap. Thinking that the eagle was hungry and thirsty, he gave him food. Also gave him milk and water. During this time, no one was afraid of the eagle nor was the bird afraid of any human being.

He further said that when the family started going to Chandi Mata temple for marriage, he also said this in front of Baz. After which the bird sat on the shoulder of a young man and reached the wedding venue with him. During the varmala, Baz remained sitting calmly on a chair near the stage. After getting the garland, it flew and sat on the bride’s head and started spreading its wings. It seemed as if he was blessing the bride. Ganesh Lodhi said that after all the marriage rituals were completed, the eagle flew away from there and suddenly disappeared from sight. The villagers believe that the bride’s father Jalam Singh had come in the form of a bird to bless his daughter. This incident remains a topic of discussion in the entire area.
