Ingredients for Mix Dal Chilla
Green moong dal – 1/4 cup
Yellow moong dal – 1/4 cup
Urad Dal – 2-3 tbsp
Chana dal – 2 tbsp
Ginger-green chili paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
Green coriander chopped – 2-3 tbsp
oil – as required
salt – as per taste

Mix Dal Chilla Recipe
To make Mix Dal Chilla, first clean all the pulses thoroughly and wash them twice with water. After this, pour hot water in a deep bowl and put green moong, yellow moong, urad and chana dal in it and keep it soaked for 1 hour. During this also cover the utensil. After the fixed time, remove the extra water from the pulses and prepare a smooth paste by grinding the pulses with the help of a mixer.

Put the prepared paste in a deep bottomed utensil and add ginger-green chili paste, finely chopped coriander, turmeric, red chili, asafoetida and salt as per taste and mix everything well and whisk the paste. Now heat a nonstick tawa. After the tawa is hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. After this, take a bowl of cheela batter and put it in the center of the griddle and spread it in a circular motion.

After spreading the cheela completely on the griddle, roast it for some time. Put some oil on the edges of the cheela for a while and turn the cheela over and apply some oil on the other side. Roast the cheela till it becomes light golden from both the sides. After this, take out the cheela in a plate. Similarly, with the help of all the batter, prepare Mix Dal Chilla one by one. Serve mixed dal chila with green chutney or tomato sauce in breakfast.
