Matar Halwa Recipe
To make Matar Halwa, first take peas and wash them thoroughly with water. Frozen peas can also be used for this, but halwa made from fresh peas gives a different taste. Now put peas in a mixie and add 2-3 teaspoons of milk and grind them coarsely. Keep in mind that peas should not be made into a paste. After this, put a mixture of milk and peas in a pan and fry it on a low flame.

After roasting the peas for 1 minute, add desi ghee to it and then cook while stirring until the water of the peas dries up. Now add grated coconut, dry fruits (cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, nuts, raisins, walnuts) and add milk. After cooking the pudding for some time, add mawa and sugar as per taste and mix it. Then add saffron threads and cardamom powder to the pudding and cook while stirring. When the halwa starts giving wet aroma and is cooked completely, then turn off the gas.
