Ingredients for making laddus
Jaggery – 4 cups cut into small pieces
Ghee- 1 cup
Wheat flour- 1 cup
Fenugreek powder- 2 tbsp (roasted and ground)
Flaxseed powder – 2 cups (roasted and ground)
Dry coconut – half cup grated
Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp (roasted)
Cardamom powder- half teaspoon
Almonds, cashews – 1/4 cup chopped
Dry ginger powder-1 teaspoon
Recipe to make nutritious winter laddus
First of all, roast fenugreek and flax seeds in separate pans, cool them and grind them in a mixer to make powder. Now put ghee in a pan and heat it. Add flour and fry until golden brown. Do not let it burn otherwise the taste of laddu will be bad. Now put it in a separate bowl and keep it aside. Pour some water in another pan, add jaggery and melt it well. Keep the flame low. When the jaggery becomes uniform, turn off the gas. Let it cool.
Now add fenugreek, flaxseed powder, poppy seeds, all chopped dry fruits, dry ginger powder, coconut, cardamom powder to the flour and mix well. Now slowly add jaggery to it and mix it with hands. The mixture should be such that it can be shaped like a laddu with hands. If it seems dry, you can mix more ghee in it. Now keep giving it the shape of round laddus. Keep it in a plate and leave it in the open for 1-2 hours so that it becomes a little tight. Keep them in an airtight container. You can eat this healthy, tasty and nutritious laddu for two to three weeks.

By eating this you will get plenty of fiber. Helpful in digestion. Fenugreek, flaxseed, jaggery, dry ginger all will keep the body warm from inside. Jaggery will provide iron and energy to the body.
