Dr. Prabhat Kumar, AYUSH Medical Officer of the District AYUSH Department located in Sadar Hospital, told Local 18 that the recipe of nutritious laddus has been prescribed in Ayurveda to increase the immunity system in winter. To prepare laddus, white sesame seeds, jaggery powder, turmeric powder, dry ginger powder, black pepper, desi ghee, walnut powder, cashew powder, almonds and raisins are required. In Ayurveda, dry ginger has been compared to a medicine, which has anti-bacterial properties that increase immunity.
Beneficial for women after delivery
He told that to make nutritious laddu, grind all the ingredients except jaggery powder and raisins in desi ghee and make powder out of it. After this, after frying it in desi ghee for 10 minutes, heat the jaggery lightly in a separate vessel and after melting it, add all the ingredients in it and prepare medium sized laddus. Consuming this one laddu in winter will provide complete nutrition to the body. Told that the nature of this laddu is hot. This laddu is also very beneficial for the pregnant woman after delivery.
