Amanatullah Khan ED Raid Live: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA from Okhla seat Amanatullah Khan was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team on Monday (September 2). The ED team arrived at his place early in the morning to raid. He was questioned for several hours, after which he was arrested. Amanatullah had told that the ED team had come to his house in connection with the investigation of the money laundering case.
Before the arrest, teams of Delhi Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were deployed outside Amanatullah Khan’s house. After the arrest, the ED team took him away amid heavy security. Before being arrested, Amanatullah Khan said that the ED team has come to arrest me. He said that this morning, on the orders of the dictator, his puppet ED reached my house. The dictator is leaving no stone unturned to harass me and other AAP leaders.
Many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have raised questions on ED’s action. This includes AAP Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia. Sanjay Singh said that those who are raising their voice against the government are being targeted by the investigation agency. Amanatullah Khan has already said that all the notices sent to him by ED have been answered.
