Why is Bakrid celebrated?,

In Islam, it is believed that Bakrid is celebrated in the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim’s sacrifice of his son Ismail for Allah., It is said that Hazrat Ibrahim had the most faith in Allah, He sacrificed his son to show his faith in Allah, It is said that as soon as he raised his sword to sacrifice his son, a ram appeared in place of his son. ,a species of sheep, had come and his son’s life was saved, On the basis of this story, every year animals are sacrificed on the occasion of Bakrid., At the time of sacrifice the goat is cut into three parts, A portion is given to the poor, The second part is distributed among friends and relatives and the remaining third part is consumed by the family.,
