In an interview given to Variety Magazine, Ekta Kapoor gave many information related to ‘LSD 2’. In this session, questions were raised regarding the release of the film. In response to this she said – ‘I am going to take a long break and disappear after the release of this film.’
Kapoor further said- ‘After the release of this film, people will start hating me’. After watching the teaser of LSD 2, it has been understood that this film is going to have even more provocative content than before. Before the release of the teaser of the film, Dibakar Banerjee had warned to watch this film only with girlfriends and friends.
Kapoor has compared his upcoming film with the film ‘Thank You for Coming’ released in the year 2023.
‘After the last film, I feel afraid of the public’
Ekta Kapoor further said- When this film was released in the year 2023, I was criticized a lot by the viewers. He further said that the film was not liked at all in India. This film got acceptance in foreign countries.
Ekta Kapoor said- Only because we made an open-minded film on the intimate life of females. For this we were cursed a lot. Even after this film of mine, I had maintained a lot of distance from the audience. Ekta Kapoor said that now the level of LSD 2 is even higher than the previous film. She said- I can guess the public’s anger towards me even before the release of the film. So I guess it’s time to go back into hiding.
