Why is Ekta Kapoor not married yet? Everyone wants to know the answer to this question. If media reports are to be believed, the TV queen wanted to get married at the age of just 15. However, things took a completely different turn and now, she is a happy single mother without getting married.

According to the report, Ekta had mentioned that her decision to remain unmarried was based on an advice given by her father Jeetendra. She had told that her father Jeetendra had asked her to choose one of the two options. One was that she could get married early and enjoy her life by partying as much as she wanted and the second was that she could work with full dedication. In such a situation, Ekta chose the option of working and remaining unmarried.

In another interview, Ekta talked about love and marriage in her life. She revealed that like many other parents, her father Jitendra and mother Shobha also wanted to see her getting married. Ekta further said that she was very busy with work at that time and she also praised women who manage their personal and professional life together.

In the same conversation, Ekta also told how after seeing many divorces among her friends, she is very happy with her decision of not getting married.

Ekta had said, “All my friends, who were married, are now unmarried. With the number of divorces I have seen recently, I think I am more patient. At least, I waited for this one. I know one thing for sure that I want a child but not marriage. I don’t have time for myself, if I get a few hours, I would like to go to a spa.”

Ekta further said, “I wait to go on a day off with friends. I love my work, so I don’t complain… If I don’t do it, I will get very bored. I would prefer to be busy rather than getting bored.”
