The roof of a house collapsed in Delhi’s Rohini. Three members of the house were trapped under the debris. Fire engines that reached the spot pulled out all three from the debris and took them to the hospital. The couple Sukrant and Gayatri Devi were declared dead in the hospital. The injured son is undergoing treatment.

The roof of a house collapsed around 3:00 am on Tuesday night in Prem Nagar police station area of Rohini district. The incident took place in Suleman Nagar Kiradi. Here in house number J-188, elderly Sukrant (85) lived with his wife Gayatri Devi (75) and son Vinod Kumar (40). All three were buried under the rubble. As soon as the information was received, three fire engines along with the police reached the spot.
All three were taken out from the debris and taken to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where the elderly couple Sukrant and Gayatri Devi were declared dead. Vinod is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Prem Nagar police station has registered a case and is investigating.
