The video of the suicide incident that shames humanity at Bhikaji Cama Place in Delhi is going viral on social media. Elderly Anil (61) committed suicide by hanging himself from an electric pole in the middle of the flyover. Since it is a ring road, a large number of vehicles pass through here, but no one paid attention to the old man. Although this incident is several days old, this video is raising questions on the alertness and humanity of the people of Delhi.

According to South-Western District Police officials, this incident occurred on November 16. Anil Kumar, son of Jangi, an electrician by profession, lived in Lakshmi Park Nangloi. He went into depression after a long illness. He was undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital. On the day of the incident, he reached Bhikaji Cama Place flyover at around six in the morning. At first he kept roaming there for a long time. Then he hanged himself from an electric pole with a rope.
A person named Irfan, who was passing by, made a video of it. The video is now going viral on social media. The question arises as to why no driver passing by noticed it. If it did, why didn’t anyone try to save it? Were the vehicles passing so fast that no driver saw them, although this is not possible.
It is seen in the video that there was a crowd of drivers watching the spectacle. This car PCR van was getting delayed in reaching the spot. RK Puram police station had conducted post-mortem of the dead body of the elderly and handed it over to the family members. The post mortem report has revealed that the old man died due to hanging.
