Expansion

Talks on seat sharing in the National Democratic Alliance are almost finalized. The party of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and MP Chirag Paswan got the number of seats it wanted. As MP Chirag Paswan told during a conversation with the media on Wednesday and the kind of things that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar or former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha or former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi were saying… the same thing remained. Now the news is coming out that Janata Dal United can give Lok Sabha ticket to Lovely Anand from Shivhar. Regarding this, former MP Anand Mohan and his wife Lovely Anand also met CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday.

There is talk that BJP has given Shivhar seat to JDU.

If sources are to be believed, former MP Anand Mohan has been assured by CM Nitish Kumar that Lovely Anand will get the ticket from Shivhar. There is also discussion that BJP has given Shivhar seat to JDU. Rama Devi is currently the MP on this seat. She is the preferred leader of BJP. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. There has been no response from BJP or JDU on this.

JDU clear, many crises within BJP

The second list of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates is likely to come out with or after the notification of the Election Commission for the Lok Sabha elections. It is also possible that BJP may first announce candidates for 13 of the seats it won in Bihar in 2019, except four seats including Patna Sahib. On the other hand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal United has given green signal to candidates on 13 of its 16 won seats. JDU is in some confusion regarding three seats, on which churning is going on in the party.
