What is EVM?
First of all, let us know what EVM is? Let us tell you that EVM means Electronic Voting Machine. EVM machine consists of two units, which contain control and ballot. In which countries EVMs are banned

At the same time, Asian country Japan has also banned EVMs in elections considering their reliability doubtful. Apart from this, the countries of Germany, Netherlands and Ireland have also banned elections through EVM i.e. Electronic Voting Machine. After the municipal elections in 2018, Japan has stopped using electronic voting machines (EVMs).

Germany does not trust EVMs
In 2009, a German court had ruled that EVMs Are unconstitutional. Therefore, Germany closed them down due to concerns over the transparency and public scrutiny of the voting process. Germany has concluded that EVMs do not meet constitutional requirements for public scrutiny.
