Sharing a screenshot through his Twitter handle, Musk has said that content creators can earn money using the monetization option on the platform. The picture shared also shows that Elon Musk has around 24,700 subscribers, whom he is offering access to and exclusive information about his online sessions.

He is charging around $4 from each user on a monthly basis. This roughly means that he is earning around $98,800 (roughly Rs. 80.9 lakhs) per month. According to this, Musk is earning close to $100,000 from his monthly subscribers, which when converted into Indian currency becomes around Rs 81.9 lakh.
How can money be earned from Twitter?
Twitter offers an option called monetization. You’ll see this when you tap on your profile icon. On tapping the profile icon, a Professional Tools tab will appear at the bottom of the screen. You tap on it. Then you will see a monetization option. After tapping on Monetization, you have to tap on Subscription.
Note : The monetization program is currently limited to select countries. Twitter’s FAQ page says that people who live in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, EU, UK and EEA will be able to participate in the program. It is not known when the program will be launched in other regions including India.
