Kangana Ranaut on Bollywood: Bollywood actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ these days. In this upcoming political drama, Kangana has played the role of late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Recently the trailer of the film was released. Amidst all this, Kangana has once again targeted Bollywood during a latest interview and called it a ‘hopeless place’.
Kangana Ranaut told Bollywood ‘‘Hopeless Place’
Kangana Ranaut appeared on the latest episode of The Bombay Journey on Mashable India’s YouTube channel. During this, the host asked Kangana whether Bollywood has boycotted her or she has boycotted Bollywood. On this, Kangana said that Bollywood is a ‘hopeless place’. She said that this industry does not like talented people, and they try their best to destroy their careers.
In fact, Kangana said, “I am saying honestly that Bollywood is a very disappointing place. Nothing is going to happen to them. Firstly, they are jealous of talent. Whoever they see as talented, they either go after them and finish them off, ruin their career, boycott them. They defame them by doing such dirty PR.”
Industry insiders love mediocre people
Kangana further said that industry insiders prefer mediocre people who will follow their orders because it is convenient for them. Kangana also said that people cannot run the industry according to their wishes.
People want me to be like them
Further, Kangana discussed that the old Bollywood actors and directors were humble and down to earth people who have seen the harsh reality of life. However, that is not the case anymore. The actress said, “I don’t know why people find me outspoken. I think I am a normal simple girl with a clear perspective, and people have a blurred vision, they don’t have clarity of mind. They don’t have clarity in their thoughts. They don’t know what to say, they don’t have the courage to speak. They judge what they have seen, the truth, nothing. Now they want me to be like them, why would a horse become a donkey, brother, donkeys should be made horses.”
When is ‘Emergency’ releasing?
Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ is releasing in theatres on 6 September. However, this film is surrounded by controversies, the Sikh community alleges that their sentiments are being hurt by this film. In such a situation, Sikhs have demanded a ban on the film.
