In this way, Kangana Ranaut’s period drama has done a total business of Rs 6.61 crore in two days.
‘Emergency’ clashes with ‘Azad’ at the box office
Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ faced Ajay Devgan’s nephew Aman Devgan’s film ‘Azad’ at the box office. Aman and Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani has made her Bollywood debut with this film. ‘Azad’ has also not been successful in making a strong start at the box office. It seems that the collections of both the films have been divided due to the clash. While ‘Emergency’ has earned Rs 6.61 crore in two days, ‘Azad’ has collected only Rs 3 crore in two days.
Kangana Ranaut has been craving for a hit for 10 years
Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut has not had a single hit film in her account for the last 10 years. ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ released in 2015 was his last hit film. After this, ‘I Love New York’, ‘Katti Batti’, ‘Rangoon’ and ‘Simran’ flopped at the box office. The 2019 film ‘Manikarnika’ proved to be average at the box office. After this, Kangana was seen in ‘Judgmental Hai Kya’, ‘Panga’, ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’, but all these films flopped badly at the box office.
