Officials on hunger strike for restoration of old pension

On the call of the central and provincial leadership of the Old Pension Scheme Restoration Joint Forum (NJCA), the employees have started a gradual hunger strike at the Manoranjan Sadan of the railway station from January 8, which will continue till January 11. Even in the harsh winter, employees and pensioners remained on strike from morning till evening. During this period the employees lashed out heavily at the central and state governments.
Putting forward the demand, he said that the old pension should be restored in the interest of the employees. He demanded cancellation of NPS and reinstatement of OPS. Speakers said that agitation and demonstration is being held regarding restoration of old pension. Employees will go on a gradual hunger strike from 8 to 11 January. He said that there is anger among the employees against the stubbornness of the government. This is the last chance for the government to restore pension. After this, strike notice will be given to the government, the entire responsibility of which will be on the government. Announced that the movement will continue until the demands are met.
It was presided over by Uday Raj Singh, Patron of the State Employees Joint Council and conducted by District Minister Shivkumar Singh.
