Recently Emraan Hashmi talked openly about this and also told the reason for it.
While talking to Bollywood Hungama, Emraan Hashmi talked about stopping kissing scenes in films. He said- ‘This is what my wife says and I listen to her. I don’t do any kissing scenes in my films. Actually, I wanted to reduce it in films from the beginning but an image of mine was created and many makers took advantage of it.
‘I had to face criticism…’
Imran further says, ‘It became an important thing to please the audience. When I watch my films, I honestly feel that at some places those scenes were not needed, but it was also an awareness for the audience. It was a lead for cinema but I had to face criticism.
Wife is insecure
The ‘Murder’ actor further explained the reason for stopping kissing scenes and said that his wife used to be very insecure due to this. He said, ‘Of course she used to be insecure but not now, because I don’t do those kind of scenes anymore.’ When Imran was asked that he had done a kissing scene in Showtime, the actor replied that his wife has not seen it yet otherwise she would become insecure.
