Five decade old bloody rivalry of village Saroth in Sadabad, Hathras, in which 25 people have died. This rivalry between the families of Umaid and Vijaypal started in 1975 in elections and village politics. 12 people from these two families and about 13 people associated with them or suspected of supporting each other have lost their lives. There is a rivalry going on between three families. PAC has been guarding the village many times. There is constant movement of police in the village all the time. Due to fear, dozens of people from the village have also fled. Due to this the development of the village was also halted.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, a Panchayat was called in the village in May under the chairmanship of Shraddhanand Maharaj, which was conducted by Premveer Singh. Both the parties were called to this Panchayat. People from both sides took a pledge that they will now look at each other with brotherhood and not with hatred. This initiative was welcomed by garlanding Umaid Singh and the woman from another family. There was a festive atmosphere in the village too. Sweets were distributed. The people of the village are happy with the agreement.

The Panchayat called for the agreement included former MLA Pratap Chaudhary, Etmadpur MLA Dharampal Singh, District Panchayat member Sua Pehalwan, BJP State Minister Rupendra Chaudhary, May Pradhan Ranveer Singh, Garh Umrao Pradhan Rajkumar, former Pradhan Harbhajan, Shyamveer Singh, Chandrapal, Shyam Singh. , Rajesh, Umaid Pahalwan, Hariom, Satish etc. played an important role in the agreement.
