Let us tell you that during the promotion of the film ‘Gadar 2’, Amisha Patel had accused Kareena Kapoor and Esha Deol of snatching her roles. Along with this, Amisha had also said about many artists of her time that they were jealous of her. But Esha Deol has expressed surprise at Amisha’s allegations.
Recently Esha Deol spoke to News Today. Where she quipped that, “Did she say that? My thoughts are very different. I think we were all very busy with our work that was given to us. I had good friendship with the girls then and as far as I think no one snatched anyone’s role.”
Isha said that in those days everyone had work. There was no one who did not have work. Isha told India Today, “I think we all were working a lot and everyone had a lot to do. It is not that any of us was sitting without work.”
Amisha had made these allegations
In the year 2023, during her film Gadar 2, Ameesha had said that, “When I entered the film industry, only the children of film actors or children of producers used to debut with me. The star kids who debuted with me included Kareena, Abhishek, Hrithik, Tusshar Kapoor, Isha, Fardeen Khan. Whenever you turned your head, you would see a third generation person from some film family here.
I was an outsider and I anyway looked at South Bombay as a snobbery because I was an educated outsider. I was the one who was quiet on the sets, I would read books and not gossip. So I was called an outsider because I chose to study.”
‘Gadar 2’ was a blockbuster
It is worth noting that Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel had created a stir with the film ‘Gadar’. At the same time, ‘Gadar 2’ of both of them, released in the year 2023, also broke many records. This film had earned about Rs 700 crore.
