Esha Deol: Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter and Bollywood actress Esha Deol recently announced her divorce with Bharat Takhtani. Since then she has been in the headlines. The actress has now revealed a disturbing incident from her past in a new interview. She revealed that a man touched her inappropriately during the premiere of one of her 2005 films.
Esha Deol was molested
In an episode of The Male Feminist, Esha Deol revealed the incident of molestation that happened with her. The actress told that this incident happened during the premiere event of her film ‘Das’ in Pune. Many of her co-stars including Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Zayed Khan and Abhishek Bachchan were present with her at that event. Despite being surrounded by bouncers, when she was entering the event venue, a man from the crowd touched her inappropriately.
Isha further said that something happened to me at that moment, and I immediately caught that man’s hand, pulled him out of the crowd and slapped him.
Why did Isha not ignore the incident?
Explaining why she could not ignore the incident, Esha further said, “I am not hot-tempered, but if someone does something beyond my tolerance level, I react. In such a situation, women must speak up. Just because men are physically strong, it does not mean they can take advantage of us. I believe women are emotionally strong and we should not tolerate such behaviour.

Let us tell you that Esha Deol married businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012 and is the mother of two daughters Radhya and Miraya. However, in February 2024, she and Bharat announced their separation after 12 years of marriage. On the professional front, Esha made her Bollywood debut with ‘Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe’ and appeared in films like ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum’, ‘LOC: Kargil’ and ‘Kya Dil Ne Kaha’.
