How did Chandragupta Maurya end?
Chandragupta Maurya was inclined towards Jainism in his last days. In his last moments, he handed over the throne to Bindusara. After which he took initiation from Jainacharya Bhadrabahu and went with him to Shravanabelagola. After which he sacrificed his life on Chandragiri hill around 300 BC. Even today, his name is taken among the great kings for the work he did in his life.
