Gauhar/ Delhi: You must have seen different types of food stalls in Delhi, where people go to eat the food of their choice. But there is so much crowd at a food cart located in Civil Lines, Delhi. This is not seen on any big food brand. Delhi’s famous Kachori is available on this food cart, which people know as Fateh ki Kachori.
Vineet, who sells Fateh’s Kachori, told that this food cart is in the name of Nana ji, who started it 60 to 70 years ago. He told that Fateh’s Kachori is served at two places in Civil Lines area of Delhi. One is on St. Xavier’s School, Raj Niwas Marg, Civil Lines and the other is on Rajpur Road, Ludlow Castle, Civil Lines.
Know the specialty of Kachori
The most special feature of this Kachori is that here the Kachoris are filled with potatoes and piti. This Kachori is served to the people by applying pea paste on it, on which sweet chutney, lemon, onion and coriander are added, due to which the taste of this Kachori increases as compared to other Kachoris. To make this Kachori, it starts from 4:00 in the morning, after which all the Kachoris are brought here and sold within 3 to 4 hours. Here the rate of Kachori is Rs 40 per plate.
How to reach here to eat Kachori
If you also want to taste Kachori, then you will have to get down from the Yellow Metro Line at Civil Lines Metro Station. As soon as you come out of Gate No. 1, you will reach there in 10 to 15 minutes by any rickshaw. Fateh Kachori’s food cart is open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. This food cart is closed on Sundays, you can come here on any other day.
