Farmers Leader On Congress: Rejecting all claims of Congress Party’s support to this farmers’ movement, Punjab Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Samiti leader Sarwan Singh Pandher has given a big statement. He has clearly said that the country’s oldest political party, Congress, is as responsible for the problems of farmers as the Bharatiya Janata Party. He condemned the police action on farmers and said that farmers are being harassed. Pandher also said that Congress is most responsible for the plight of farmers.

Farmer leader Pandher rejected Congress Party’s claims of support to farmers and laborers and said that Congress is equally guilty for the plight of farmers. We are farmers and laborers of the country, whatever is being said in the media, no Congress supports us. He said that we blame Congress because the policies of Kam MSP have been brought by Congress. Pandher said, “The CPM which ruled Bengal made 20 mistakes, what kind of revolution came from there in West Bengal, we are not in favor of anyone, we are farmers and labourers.”

While talking to news agency ANI, he accused the police and said that the police is harassing people in the villages of Haryana and Punjab. He said that we presented the situation of Haryana before them that you have turned Haryana into the valley of Kashmir, you are sending police to every village of Haryana. Pandher stressed that see, it seems that Punjab and Haryana are not two states of India but an international border, as we are seeing now.
