According to the report, there are 233 crore people in the world who have to struggle to get enough food on a regular basis. At the same time, there are 86.4 crore people among them who have to spend some time without food. This report is worrying at the global level. According to the report, if this situation continues, then by 2030, about 58.2 crore people may have to struggle with malnutrition for a long time. This situation is especially worrying for Africa, because about half of these people will be from the African continent.

Healthy diet

According to the information, access to healthy diet is also a serious issue in the world.  It is affecting one-third of the world’s population. According to the report, in 2022, more than 280 crore people were unable to afford a nutritious diet. This problem is more serious in poor countries, where 71.5 percent of the population is unable to afford a healthy nutritious diet. Although the situation has improved in Asia, North America and Europe compared to before the pandemic, the situation in Africa has become much worse.
