Actually, 25 km away from the district headquarter, there is Mahpura village near Baba Karu Sthan temple of Mahishi block. After going to this area, you will see the famous shop of Nunu Lalki Dahi and Peda. This shop is also known by the name of Sardarji. The curd and peda here are not only for marriages, but officers also like it very much.

Because of setting curd in an earthen pot, the people of the potter community also have a lot of hope from this shop. Thousands of earthen utensils are bought every month from the people of the potter community.

1300 liters of milk consumed per day
You will find this shop in Mahpura village near famous Baba Karu Khirhar Sthan temple in Bihar. People passing by that way must taste the curd and Peda here once. Not only this, they also take it as a message. According to the shopkeeper, he prepares curd of 1300 liters of milk daily. They say that more than 30 people who rear cattle give milk here. From morning to evening, all the curd and peda are sold.

Manish Kumar, popularly known as Sardar, says that hundreds of people have got employment from this shop. They tell that we want the product of my place to go everywhere. In today’s era, people do not get pure goods easily. Slowly we are trying to have our own brand, so it would be better. Manish said, ‘The business of curd and peda has been going on in our house since the beginning. Our grandfather used to do the business of curd and peda. The curd and Peda here goes to 7-8 districts. The cost of one kg of pure curd is Rs.80, while the pure Peda costs Rs.280 per kg.
