Jayaram Das runs this restaurant at the age of 92 and even today he can be seen making tea for people with his own hands. Even today people come here from far and wide to taste his tea. Along with tea, other snack items are also prepared here, which people enjoy with tea.

Old age father-son duo makes tea
Jayaramdas Bagwani, owner of Ashoka Restaurant, says that he had started this restaurant in a small form 70 years ago, at that time there was not so much settlement here and in Jaipur too, almost half of Jaipur was a forest then and the market here was also not like today, but today this road has become the most VIP road of Jaipur, when he started this restaurant, at that time the price of a cup of tea used to be 12 paise and even at that time people used to enjoy the tea with great pleasure, today this restaurant is run by his son Ashok Kumar along with a famous waiter named Pandit ji who has been doing service and other work in the restaurant for 50 years, just three people run this restaurant together.

Ashok Restaurant is still the same as it was started 70 years ago, the tables and chairs in a room look like the scenes from the movies of the 90s and people get a unique peace with delicious tea here. That is why people from the surrounding area keep coming here to enjoy tea for the last 50 years, Jairam Das Bagwani is 92 years old but even today he keeps making tea for the customers, along with the taste of his tea, people are admirers of his affection and simplicity, that is why people come from far away to drink tea here.
