The sweeper in Tejas Express going from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi set an example of honesty. A passenger’s diamond ring fell in the train on Saturday morning. He informed the RPF squad. After some time, cleaning worker Subhash discovered the ring near the bathroom and handed it over to the passenger.
Chandan Ghosh, a resident of Hijli in Medinipur, West Bengal, was going to New Delhi by Tejas A-2 coach. As soon as the train left Kanpur, he informed the squad about the loss of the diamond ring. RPF head constable Manoj Kumar Tripathi along with the team immediately interrogated the coach attendant, waiter and other passengers. Chandan Ghosh expressed fear of the ring falling around the bathroom. After this everyone started searching for the ring in the coach. Cleaning worker Subhash discovered the ring in some time. RPF Inspector Surabhi Sharma said that the passenger has appreciated the RPF and the sweeper a lot.
Amrapali will run late by two hours in Amritsar
NCR PRO Ragini Singh said that 15708 Amrapali Express will run two hours late from its origin station Amritsar on February 14. Because of this, it will reach each of its stations with a delay of two hours.
