According to the news, when the web version starts, users will be offered a monthly subscription of Rs 599. Meta has said that users in India can currently take a monthly subscription of Rs 699 on iOS and Android for this facility. For Facebook verified account subscription, Facebook and Instagram users will have to verify their account with a government ID.
Special preference to verified account
The company says that the verified account will get security and support. “We are expanding our testing of the Meta Verified Service to India after seeing great results from our initial testing in several countries around the world,” Meta said. We will also continue to honor previously awarded verified badges based on the existing criteria. Minimum activity requirements have to be met for Facebook’s verified account. Users must be at least 18 years of age.
