There was panic due to leakage of ammonia gas from a container kept in the ice factory of a couple of Kamla Nagar in Nunihai. Many people in the surrounding area had breathing problems and eye irritation. Five children also fainted. Later, fire department officials reduced the impact of the gas leak by spraying water with the help of fire engines.
The leak could be stopped after one and a half hours. After this the factory employees also ran away. After investigation late in the evening, administrative officers sealed the factory. Even the employees did not reach the factory on Sunday. On the other hand, the children whose condition had deteriorated are in panic.
The family told that the children are not ready to go out of the house due to fear. He was playing outside the house when his health deteriorated due to leakage. The police say that no one has filed any complaint in this matter. People say that many factories in the industrial area are being operated without safety standards. Only when an accident occurs, teams from various departments arrive to investigate.
