Ram Babu, who has been running a potato chop shop for the last 40 years, said that he had started the shop in Daudpur market in 1984. There were problems in the beginning due to it being a rural area. Only limited people used to come to eat. Gradually people started liking the taste of potato chop and jalebi. After this, a crowd of people started gathering here. The situation is such that people now have to wait. Never compromised on quality for last 40 years. This is the reason why people come here from far and wide to eat potato chop and jalevi. He told that special attention is given to purity. Along with this, special care is also taken on cleanliness.
800 pieces of allu chop are sold daily
Ram Babu told that he prepares pure gram flour himself. He told that for potato chops he buys good quality potatoes from the market. To make potato chops, special spices prepared at home including celery, mungrel and garlic are mixed. Due to which the taste comes out clearly. He told that people are fed potato chops at the rate of five rupees per piece. At the same time, 800 pieces of potato chop are sold every day. There is so much crowd in the shop that four people manage it together. Those who eat the potato chop here once, they definitely come again. Be it winter or summer, people come here to eat in every season. People come here from far-flung areas just to eat potato chops.
