The good thing is that there is no lack in its taste. This Anarsa is a sweet dish which is made from rice and plain sesame.
There is a stall for making Anarsa in Giridih’s Muslim market. The Anarsa here is not only famous in Giridih. It is also very soft and smooth. It melts as soon as it is put in the mouth. Rice charota and white sesame seeds are used to make Anarsa. It is prepared and fried in refined oil. The Anarsa here is so tasty.
1 kg of Anarsa for 200 rupees
As soon as the shop is set up here, there is a line of customers throughout the day. This shop is named ‘Gaya’s famous Anarsa Saha ji’s’. You will get two types of Anarsa here. Talking about the price, the Anarsa with Khoya is 10 rupees per piece. It is 200 rupees per kilo. The price of the one without Khoya is 120 rupees per kilo, which you can buy at the rate of 5 rupees per piece. This shop is open from 9 am to 9 pm.
25 kg sales per day
Shop owner Pramod Kumar Saha told Local 18 that he makes better Anarsa than Gaya’s Anarsa. He has been selling Anarsa for the last 30 years. The work of confectionery is his family business. He learned to make Anarsa from his mother. He has been setting up this stall since 1994. He has been setting up the shop for 30 years. He uses 10 kg of khoya to make Anarsa every day. He told Local 18 that he sells 25 kg of Anarsa every day. He sells from 3 thousand to 3500 every day.
